Pros & Cons
Pros
It's always easy to see where you stand because of the illuminated level indicators on the box (a separate set for each battery) the case has side input port for charging cable. Each battery slot has corresponding led indicator light showing status of... Read More
Telesin pocket np-bx1 battery charger works well with both name brand and alternative brand camera batteries. The catch is that it is a lot heavier than a triple np- bx1 charger - and much larger. Charging time is reasonable.
The cover incorporates a magnetic latch and when it’s opened and closed, provides the battery status via one to four light bars that remain on for a few seconds. It uses a magnetic closure, too, which makes it easy to get to your batteries when you ne... Read More
The case holds a charge and functions as a power bank, which allows you to charge three sony bx-1 batteries out in the field, cable-free! The best feature is the charging lights, which are sorely missing on most chargers.
Small enough to fit in a pocket or tiny backpack container. It's a nice small pocketable device that can easily be transported in my pocket. This charger is smaller than i thought it would be so it’s quite compact to travel with.
Cons
Even if it did work, it's a big problem that this uses usb-a instead of usb-c.
Highlights
Quality
- the build feels really solid and the case is sturdy.
It works great, fits in my pocket well, shows the charge state of each of the three batteries and is very convenient.
Once you insert a battery into the slot, orientation is indicated with arrow, the 4 led lights show you the battery remaining.
The potentially bad - if you've paid attention to your camera and existing chargers, you've probably noticed that they are all "keyed".
Price
Excellent value for the price – a must have!
Shipping
Then quickly forget i had put them there.
Packaging/appearance
The charger is compact lightweight for general packing for travel but i wouldn't carry it once we arrive at a place while filming.
Competitiveness
Telesin pocket np-bx1 battery charger works well with both name brand and alternative brand camera batteries.
