Very sturdy unit. Could be used attached to a regular tripod. No need to worry about spare batteries anymore.

I keep getting an error message saying that the usb power source isn't capable enough and that its shutting down.
I wasn't rough with this and upon trying to use it a second time in over 2 months, this happened!
I purchased this selfie stick because it showed its ability to power a gopro without the gopro battery installed.

**update**the seller responded quickly to this and has provided a full refund.
Competitiveness
I can perhaps deal with keeping the battery installed, but i bought this to reduce overheating of the gopro.

It could be used attached to a regular tripod and possibly to a camera gimbal as a power factory
