The battery holds up all day and the remote is pretty straight forward to operate.

It pairs with my max and gopro 9 with no issues and the record works when i push the button.

After a few hours i checked the device and the screen was off.

It can turn on and off the hero 9, record remotely, and you only need to pair it once, and that's it.

Price

Nice bright screen, inexpensive, and work just fine.

I'm not sure what more the official remote does for $50 more, but this has worked well for me.
