I like that you can brew tea with or without the strainer and the lid will not fall in if the strainer is not put in

I see a lot of reviews at the 3star or below rating but my guess is that they are handling and cleaning this incorrectly

I picked this up at a secondhand store and its been great for months up until this morning when the basket started coming apart

The punched steel basket does not work well for coffee except for pourover use as it doesnt allow for proper water flow through the grounds

I can only assume that it is best for looseleaf teas thus the 4star rating
