If you are not using an raspberry pi or linux i do not recommend this

There are much better wifi dongles that will better utilize your pc or mac

Works on my pi3 to get on 5ghz wireless which i needed because my wireless security system is stomping on my 2

I noticed i had an issue with it shutting down the pi when trying to enable the wireless
