Pros & Cons
Pros
The tenda 5-port gigabit router is almost too good to be true. I have the modem coming in to the switch and then the switch feeding the computer and an ooma telo (voip) my wi-fi still works great to connect my smartphone and laptop.
It works fantastic, doesn’t require any sort of setup other than plugging it in. When you plug in the ethernet cables with a 'normal' amount of pressure, it feels like they are seated. Very simple plug and play with nothing to setup.
Cons
If you push and hold the cable in some weird angle it would connected, but disconnected as soon as i pull my hand out. When it's plugged in upstairs into the switch and the switch is plugged into the jack, no dhcp.

This is probably the cheapest 1 gigabit switch at the time of writing and quite frankly you dont need much else

With switches all theyre really doing is routing local traffic between your devices so theres no real computing involved so with unmanaged switches ones without an elaborate control interface theres no real point not going the cheapest

Sure you could get better build quality and assurance in brand name elsewhere but quite frankly id take the plunge and worry about maybe having to send it back than pay double unless i need it immediately or for business purposes
