Cons
This leads to me having to reset the extender and link it again to the wifi. It works, but just barely. It's behind the sofa not plugged in.

I use it as an access point and i’m very pleased.
I now have a full signal around the house and can easily stream hd quality pictures on my fire stick in all rooms.
The tenda a9 then reboots and your wifi is extended with the same network name and password and also the same channel.

Very easy to use,just plug in,press a button and it works!
My hub is less than 10ft from my desk with out any items to interfere with the connection.

A green light means it has a strong connection to the original network and orange indicates a weaker signal

To be honest this isn’t terribly useful as your if you phonetabletdevice will likelyl be able to detect the original network and may choose to connect to it even though its signal is weaker

The best thing to do is login to your router and find the address of tenda a9 extender on your network so may be something like 192

Once into the extender’s admin panel you can check the signal strength but more important rename the extended wifi network name to something different at my home i changed the network from home to home2g

Our devices downstairs get 73mbs while devices upstairs got 5mbs
