Pros

Tenda 1000 single port gigabit power line adapter - 1000 mbps is a fantastic product. It was purchased to resolve intermittent wifi connectivity in a room far away from the wireless access point. I suspect the best you could get out of this is 200-300...  Read More

No issues. No pausing so far. It frees you from the leash!

Cons

This is completely unacceptable. Will never buy again. Will be returning. You will be disappointed.

Customer service is virtually non-existent. Tenda did not respond when requested for an rma number by amazon.

The uploads are fine, but i expected much more from this kit on the download. Promised 1000 mbps, on amazon along with on the box. Couldn't even reach 3 mbps. Would only recommend for low bandwidth devices.

Quality

Great product looking forward testing it on fiber connection

Great signal, took 2 minutes to hook up.

Opened hot tub app, setup connection and shazam, it fired right up.

In my experience, the speed claims for powerline adapters don't reflect real-world conditions.

Price

This little device did the trick for about 50 bucks.

Packaging/appearance

These little boxes allowed me to put hotspots around an old house for connectivity.

Hopefully they will last through the 3 year warranty noted on the packaging.

Competitiveness

Overall, it is cheaper and far more performant to simply buy a 100 foot ethernet cable and run it wherever you need it, but if ...  Read More

I plugged them in and my internet worked right away which was great but after performing a speedtest i got speeds of 2

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

They are rated at 1 gig speeds but as many reviewers are not aware the speed depends on the electrical circuit wiring in your home

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I can guarantee you that these powerline adapters are not sharing the same breaker nor electrical wiring thus the poor performance numbers

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

So far internet is good even at the low speed but if performance does not ramp up in the coming weeks these adapters are going back as my dlink adapters were producing much better numbers 20 mbps than these tendas

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Update i changed electrical outlet and got speeds of 36

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The speed definitely isnt great but it works well enough for my use cases the input ethernet line gets 250 mbps but the output at the garage is usually only 10 mbps

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Its worth noting that the speed decrease may be completely due to shoddy wiring in my house its over a hundred years old and the previous owners definitely did their own work in some places

But you do need some understand basic home wiring to yield the best performance
