This was my 2nd unit the 1st didnt work which must have been faulty because the 2nd unit went in no problem

My recommendation would be watch the numerous you tube videos 1st before trying to install

We have historically poor wifi signal in our house since its a 1930s red brick house so the standard router and wifi extenders just arent upto it especially since we have kids who watch netflixplay games etc

We currently have internet via vodafone and have one of their boosters extending the range but even that cant reach the dead spot

Well within 10 minutes of taking the units out of the box and reading the very simple instructions i had downloaded the app connected the primary node to the router turned off the wifi on the main router and renamed the network on the node to match the original network name and also used the original password
