The headset filters out light very well and has lenses that can be adjusted in terms of width and focus so will be compatible with the majority of users

I can loosen the straps but then headset sags under its weight and loses focus making the screen blurry

Unfortunately samsung gear doesnt work on iphone so if you are an ios consumer as i am you need to wait something from apple to come up in the near future or you can buy this one and try some vr content from appstore
