Quality
Seems very good quality material all fastenings seem sound.
Pegged it out to use as a sitting mat for the family, and we had room for 2 adults and 2 kids, along with the food.
To be fair i didn't compare my arm length with the stated width of tge poncho.
Packaging/appearance
Very easy to use but putting it back in the little bag provided can be tricky.
Great product to get ya out of the rain,however when the wind blows up ya kilt.
Competitiveness
This poncho easily covered me and my 40l rucksack.

Did not test it in heavy rain yet but to walk the dog for about 30 min in light rain with strong wind it worked just fine

However it could do with something to latch the two pieces at the corners to stop it flaying up in the wind as much

On minus side its huge so when windy outside nearly take off

As others have commented pity arm coverage is only slightly beyond elbow not so much an issue if using walking poles but will improvise something for mountain use
