Pros
This is a hefty game for people who don't mind being in it for the long haul! It's also wife friendly, impressive feature beacuse it's also a very deep and complex game. The artwork is fantastic, and the pieces are very well-made.
Different races make for a lot of enjoyment for replay. Only negative is that once you chose your race it really dictates your strategy. Some races are natural jerks.
Terra mystica is a decently complex board game for gamers that have some time to throw at it. It's like a more complicated version of settler's of catan.
Currently it's the best tabletop game i have played. Game progresses very smoothly and you're always busy.
Cons
The game is also very bland to look at. It appears i can't get an english instruction manual without returning the whole item, which is more hassle than its worth imo. Definitely serious gamers only.

The quality is amazing and the game play is even better.
Components/game boardnot much to complain about with component quality here although i think i do prefer gaia project in this area.
Price
This makes the cost of the game worthwhile in my opinion.
Shipping
Arrived in great condition which is important yet difficult for a heavy board game shipping through the mail.
Packaging/appearance
Gaia project overwhelmed me right out of the box.
Competitiveness
Although many are saying there is not much direct competition in this game and no war aspect.
The competition for land can heat up as well since both players will be trying to transform certain sections to block off the other.

There is a bit of a learning curve but once you start playing its pretty easy to understand at least if youre familiar with this style of game
