Pros

After a few learning experiences (this is my first nas, so there was a bit of a learning curve for me), i successfully got syncthing set up and syncing to my pcs. Easy peasy. The setup is really straight forward, intuitive and well documented.

The nas deletes commercials and transcodes video with no hiccups or problems. It even uses the latest and greatest file b-tree filesystem. The only downside is that you lose the datum.

My only regret is that i wasn't brave enough to try to buy the cheaper version. Overall, the nas appears to be working as expected so i am quite satisfied with my purchase.

Cons

Software is terrible once it did work. Apps nonexistent and unavailable for download. File manager is painful and navigation isn't always clear. Apps are clunky at best.

Terrmaster is price gouging their customers and its disgusting! This is not acceptable.

It can be used by only one user consistently. It is not safe for anyone but an attacker to gain access to the system. Ccp, a ccp member, is not willing to give or allow any ccp member access to my system.

First off, it feels extremely well made and really gives off a premium vibe.

Only operational for a month, so long-term quality not known.

The chassis is solid being almost entirely made of metal the dual 2.

The packaging was excellent and the quality of workmanship was great.

Unboxing and the unit and the aluminum housing looks as good as i thought.

The internal components are packed in tight.

I have used other nas brands in the past as well as terramaster, however this one has been the best.
