Update after one month use. That usb stick is worth 1$. My data is worth only 1$ if i continue using it.

Price
I picked it up on a prime day sale, so the price was super competitive with the upper costing brand.
F4-423 is great for my use-case, the hardware is great for the price point.
Shipping
Very quick and easy to setup and has great features to enable fast access across all drives.
Packaging/appearance
After comparing the different units and reading/watching reviews of them, i settled on the f4-223.
Competitiveness
Excellent hardware and metal case, very scalable and great price compared to the competition.
Getting a couple of 8tb drives installed was incredibly simple.
5 years and then the mainboard died, tried all the tricks, reflashed the usb, shorted battery.
I would have given 5 stars if not for the mediocre software compared to the likes of qnap & synology.

A little bit hard to replace the ram room is very tiny and need pay attention the ram is laptop style i used timetec 32gb kit2x16gb ddr4 2400mhz pc419200 nonecc unbuffered ones so far so good

I bought a heat sink for the ssd disk however its too high for the closure because i have used the heat sink so i could not return it

So i bought the f4223 and it arrived a day later i transferred the drives over in the same order to the new device and it booted up as if nothing had changed all my applications docker containers dns server plex
