Easy to setup , very very quiet nas.

I'm happy with the 2nd one and its bren working as expected, update my rating to 4/5

Avoid wd gold and stick to nas drives like the ironwolf pros.

I thought it was too loud at first but this was purely down to the drives i initially put inside.

Price

I bought this at $549 on prime day.

So was extra happy to see the price drop from last month when i was first looking into this.

Competitiveness

32gb of memory pre configured and two nvme slots definitely is better than many alternatives at this and even above the price point.

The alderlake n series from intel (ecore) have been pretty great all around vs prior generations at their respective price points.

But in terms of the specs of the f4-424 pro compared to its price, no other nas offers a better bang for your buck.

Terramaster os is not as great as synology but their hardware is better.
