Will be upgrading this and use the 2nd bay drive. Ssd slots that can be used for os, caching, or both.

Purchased this f2-223 to start backing up all the family's devices, organize our photos, and run the emby server. Overall, this device is perfect for backups and warm storage.

Iomega nas is a superstar. Runs like a dream. Longevity and it still works after well over a year.

Locate and remove a small usb flash drive on the motherboard. It may be hidden by a grey ribbon cable. Reassemble the nas. Plug the terramaster tos usb into any available usb slot.

Cons

Do yourself a favor and buy a qnap or a synology. Save yourself the time and effort to troubleshoot a device that is not reliable. Do not underpay for this device.

Buyer beware. Buyer beware. Don't buy this, seriously.

Not even going to speak about the issue of being hacked. They claim it's for password reset purposes.

The file manager is painful. Svn server is pretty poor. This breaks a lot of the cloud syncing abilities if you open the app.

The packaging was excellent and the quality of workmanship was great.

Though the hard drive i bought on the same order came in a paperbag, the nas was packed very well.
