Simple to use and able to handle multiple 1080p streams with transcoding and direct plays 4k remux files without breaking a sweat.
This is a great device and seems to be fairly sturdy and doesn't feel cheap other than the power button.
Another thing to clarify is this has 2gb of onboard (soldered) ram that is not removable.
I used shucked 12tb drives purchased from ebay and they recognize with no issue.

I feel like this could be priced in at about $100 cheaper if you really consider this thing has a 1.
I do wish the cpu was a little beefier but that would be at the expense of heat, noise and size as well.

Not sure what other people are complaining about when it comes to sound as the hdds are what drive the noise not the unit itself

Sure but you can argue that about anything that houses an hdd but even then i can barely hear it when watching a movie
