Pros

Bought this for usage as a 10gb connection to my media server, works as advertised. Had non 10 gb unit first and that is now being used as home fileserver and photo repository. But that ram stick is compatible with this.

Cons

The only benefit is that you can install your own os on it.

Getting into the box via ssh shows many areas which are configured drastically wrong. Cons:- several parts of the ui show translation issues.

I used shucked 12tb drives purchased from ebay and they recognize with no issue.

4gb ram and intel cpu-excellent and inexpensive nas, returned synology 220+ even it is a good one too.

After looking at other solutions, like qnap, asustor, synology etc.
