Pros

This pack is one of the few backpacks i've researched that are ultralight. Along the inside of that flap is a zipper that runs the length of the pack. Also tons of gear attachment loops, d rings, daisy chain bungie, and straps.

The pack fits me perfect. It's hard to beat these packs, especially when priced where they are currently. Other than that, the pack is as advertised.

Teton has amazing and knowledgeable customer support. I'm amazed that it is also one of the most affordable. Great low cost option, great quality.

It's very sturdy and was super comfortable, despite my mild-ish sciatica. Also it's comfy. And 160lbs soaking wet lol.

Cons

This is a thin and tall pack, and when i was carting stuff to the beach, it didn't really matter. Unfortunate use of landfill space. Not a good pack. Returned this backpack.

While lifting the pack up to put it on the stitching gave way on the right shoulder strap and completely pulled away from the pack. The chest strap is way too small and pulls the shoulder straps in, causing a fair amount of pain after a few miles. The... Read More

Packaging/appearance

We used this to prepare our go bag so it is pretty well packed!

Easy to pack and the sleeping bad pocket is very convenient!

I wanted a pack that had exterior pockets and was a ultralight pack.

Maybe just keep it packed light for kids and you would be okay.
