Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The top completely unzips from the bottom so it can be used as two blankets. It also can be unzipped to form 2 seperate sleeping bags. Due to the shear thickness of each layer, zipping/unzipping this thing works better than any sleep bag i've ever use...  Read More

The interior of the bag is super soft and cozy. Also it is very fluffy/ comfortable to sleep on. It strikes me as more of a natural feel and not slithery like other linings. Was very surprised on the thickness and warmth initially.

It is everything i wanted in an over-sized sleeping bag and more, a lot more. It has so much legroom and is probably ~2 feet longer than needed. It's a nice stuff sack but it took 4 people to cram the bag in. Bag is 8 to 10 inches 12 inches with loft,...  Read More

I can testify at 10-20f degree temps your are still comfy warm while sleeping. On super cold nights get * in this sleeping bag and let your body temp and the bags insulation do its magic.

Cons

This bag is so ridiculously massive. It takes up twice the room when folded up as my 8 person tent.

The top layer collects an insane amount of water it between the outer and inner shell. Upon placing any weight onto the sleeping bag, the water oozes out and puddles up around the seams, causing everything to become completely soaked. Literally had to...  Read More

Quality

I was totally impressed at the size, materials, quality of construction and comfort of this sleeping bag.

Rolls up and goes in the carrying case nicely.

Temperature was a single digit, and i used a three season tent that provided minimal wind blockage.

We woke up with icicles all around our tent and our hair and pillows frozen.

Price

Worth the extra money to be warm!

Stuff sack is difficult to reuse once taken out only knock

However i have concluded that i will never be able to fully close the “compression bag” you’re supposed to store it in

Don’t even try to do it if you’re breaking down a campsite and want to leave by noon

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

We were able to do it but could not adequately cinch the drawcord tight enough to get the tiny top flap to fully cover the exposed area around the draw top

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

On the way home the sleeping bag managed to expand so much as to pop out the top of the storage bag like a monster that was not okay dwelling within
