Pros & Cons
Pros
Both mesh side pockets are the perfect size for 32 oz nalgene bottles. Zippers and compression straps seem well made and sturdy. Bottom access zipper to put sleeping bag and he bottom straps to put tent.
It is adjustable. And 160lbs soaking wet lol. Only complaint is that it took a bit of fiddling and watching a lot of youtube reviews to figure out the torso size adjustment straps.
The 1500 is every bit as good as the 2100. I'm amazed that it is also one of the most affordable and now they have proven to have the most superior customer service. Teton has amazing and knowledgeable customer support. Your products are awsome and th... Read More
This pack is one of the few backpacks i've researched that are ultralight and have pockets on exterior of the pack. Once you undo those it kinda butterfly opens up. It's hard to beat these packs, especially when priced where they are currently.
Teton sports hiker 3700 60 l in red & grey color is great. Just right for the occasional weekender to 5 day. I love the size of this backpack because it is big enough for an overnight but not too big for just a day hike.
Cons
While lifting the pack up to put it on the stitching gave way on the right shoulder strap and completely pulled away from the pack. The chest strap is way too small and pulls the shoulder straps in, causing a fair amount of pain after a few miles. The... Read More

Packaging/appearance
We used this to prepare our go bag so it is pretty well packed!
Easy to pack and the sleeping bad pocket is very convenient!
I wanted a pack that had exterior pockets and was a ultralight pack.
Maybe just keep it packed light for kids and you would be okay.
Competitiveness
The 1500 is every bit as good as the 2100.
Kelty, arcteryx, lowe, osprey, berghaus, karrimor, jansport, i’ve carried them all and this is the best yet.
Yes, i know that osprey is a great company and known for lightweight gear - i have other osprey products - but i just couldn't ... Read More
The company does not make belt extenders, and i've ordered 3 off brand extenders to try and match to no avail.
