The strap across the ankle has a more flexible feel to the material than the rest of the shoe, for comfort and durability. These have a great pad on the heel to prevent heel bite.
Cons
The sandals are completely and totally unusable. It looks like the velcro straps have a hook and are adjustable but they’re just molded plastic. Feels tight for a size 10.

This version has only one vecro attachment, across the arch, and is composed of one molded piece of soft plastic.
You cannot adjust the fit of the straps so if the strap is too tight or too loose, it can’t be adjusted.

I bought these for my trip to thailand and plan on boating tours requiring stepping into the sea.

I ordered these two pairs of sandals to choose one to wear instead as they look like they have better support for the sole of the foot when standing all day and fit closer to the foot so there shouldn’t be so much movement or friction

Hurricanethis sandal is the one on the left on the picture and the one shown by itself it is made out of a rubber material similar to crocs but thicker

Both shoes have the same sole in terms of size fit and even treads but this shoe is made of rubber so is much lighter

The straps are typical of teva sandals more like a stiff waterproof fabric feel and every strap adjusts with velco

This allows a custom fit but my son finds parts of the velcro digs in unless you have the perfect lined up seal
