Pros

The omnium2 has a slightly squarer toe-box than the original omnium. The closed toe box and heel provide reasonable protection for walking on rough terrain. The buckle on top is my go-to way to remove the shoe - quick and efficient!

Make sure to consult the sizing chart before purchasing to ensure a comfortable fit. These fit like a glove even with socks on. No up-sizing or down-sizes needed.

The vibram soles are excellent. These are a little pricier but have a thicker sole.

No chafing, no blisters. But comfy. Thicker toe cap and easily adjustable velcro top and back straps make for a great all terrain hiking experience. Teva is committed to innovation in outdoor performance footwear.

Cons

A lot of cut corners in this item. They are super uncomfortable, not as flexible. These are junk. Returned to amazon.

The inside lining is much courser and rougher. Shredded my heels in blisters after 10 minutes. If you’re not wearing socks, chances are that lining will irritate the back of your feet.

The are extremely well made and last for years.

Nice air ventilation for summer, toe and heal covered, sturdy tread, good velcro strap for a secure and comfortable fit.

The strap pn the heel is made of something rough, like sandpaper and was uncomfortable for me.

The first were more water based and the back strap was rubber and snapped after about 2 months.

Packaging/appearance

They’re clean, it’s nothing i’ve done, they came out of the box that way.

Obviously what first attracted me to the shoes was the *looks* and i was surprised the colors looked but irl than on my monitor.

Competitiveness

Most of the other brands didn’t offer that option.

While i chose the non-leather version this time (good sale on it), i think it will serve me equally as well.
