Yes it does not fit the the fire tablet with the kids case but you can easily remove the case until the drive is over

I dont use the corner pieces which are nice a snug but since i have a white face device it looked weird

I have an ipad mini 2 which does not fit w or wo a casecover so this is useless to me

Only down side is you can’t use a bulky cover with the tablet because it won’t fit
