I bought this for a kindle hd 7 which i purchased in oct 2013 and unfortunately it does not fit my model because its designed to fit pre2013 versions of the kindle hd 7

I also liked being able to easily pull the kindle out of the case if we needed to remove it from the headrest quietly without that loud velcro noise something we had to think about when the younger child was napping and we were trying to be quiet

One suggestion we got an extra elastic band which you can buy separately and with two kids i loved having two straps so we could have one set up for each childs seat in our case one child rides rearfacing and one rides forwardfacing so they cant view the screen at the same time
