Pros
The sun shield protects the navigator from the sun and glare. This device is excellent for sunny/bright environments. Solution for a lot of harley riders complaining about not being able to see their screens when riding in certain sunlight positions.
Stays on even on bumpy rides. Easy to attach. Easy to install.
Works as advertised. Has some limitation, but works well nonetheless.
Cons
Be mindful of the thickness (front to the back) of your gps. It fits awkwardly on my garmin.
Flimsy cloth elastic band piece of work. Very cheaply made. Going in the trash.
It clips onto the back side and it's not a firm fit. It overlaps the screen in multiple areas. The rear clamp covers the power button and the top section restricts the tilt ability.
It is considered a truck gps but keeps trying send me on roads way too small for a 60 foot tt. Downtown burlington vt is a nightmare. Does not work with rv type gps with dash cams blocks the dash cam.

That shade is much lighter, but apparently those are not made for the 6-inch nüvi.
Good quality and it has it place but didn't work out for me.

Unfortunately it adds just enough weight that the whole unit shakes more over rough roads and needs to be adjusted periodically

I would prefer a soft shade like the 322 gps shade that i purchased for the smaller zumo garmin gps on my motorcycle

Only reason i gave the same three stars as i could see me breaking it its not egg fragile or anything like that but it is plastic and i know how i am

Dont know about value yet as ive not had conditions where the hood was warrented
