I was a big perplexed when they would jump back in time because while this book is set in the future its almost not far enough into the future to click as to a clear timeline

They did tidy up a lot from season 2 and some parts of the book almost seemed rushed like they just wanted to tuck in that loose end to get to the next part of the story but over all it was well written the authors seem to get better with each book they write and there were very few errors

Im a huge fan of the beam though i have to admit i worried they wouldnt be able to pull off yet another topnotch season
