Pros

Me and my family really enjoys the best ice cream maker book. Purchased a new ice cream freezer for my son and needed this book to go with it. Now i have two books and one manual that came with my machine.

The whole family of the recipient loves the book. Like slightly larger than a mass market paperback. It was published in 1998, so there are newer books out there.

Cons

Beautiful hardback cover, however entire book is without photos. Recipe called for heating the cream and half-and-half until hot. I get a bit annoyed at titles that suggest greatness and give you mediocrity.
