This book manages both of those handily. It is the easiest to follow, and the projects are fun to work on. On top of that, the book is really good for getting the creative juices flowing.
Cons
The kindle version of this book has terrible formatting. All of the example code on the kindle version is all smashed together and unreadable. There is no way to tell which lines belong to which function, loop, conditional statement, etc.
