Super informative, full of maps, gorgeous photos, and helpful diagrams. Packed with interesting facts and all research includes sources. The information is wonderful and will provoke you to did deeper for more of the history of our people.
Cons
Author dedicates a whole section to african american participation in lgbtq+ social activities which began in europe -- not africa. If you really want ancient black history is very mediocre.
