Pros

The book is a beautiful bound giant hardback. An experience was once described as standing at the foot of niagara falls trying to get a drink of water. If i had to pick one book that was essential in every household, this one fits that bill.

The chicken bible is an aptly named cookbook. There are sixteen chapters of recipes, and they almost all follow the standard atk format. Atk is always thorough -- you get an education in the subject as much as you get recipes.

This cookbook works well for both experienced cooks and novice cooks. Extra info is worthwhile--especially so for inexperienced cooks. I always buy kindle editions because we aren't the best when it comes to keeping track of printed cookbooks.
