Pros

Each recipe has complete nutritional information including total carb choices. While these recipes are lower in carbs, a lot of the recipes are still a bit higher in carbs than i would want.

I recently was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This cookbook gives an overview of the disease and the difference between type 1 and type 2. I highly recommend this book for any newly diagnosed diabetics.

I wish this book came with a hardcover. I wish amazon sold spiral bound books, and by now they should. I'm relieved to have come across this book.

Cons

Most atk recipes are too big. Some recipes seem to have a great many carbohydrates in them. Recipes that have 20-23-50 carbs are horrible for diabetics.

It's a very heavy book, way too heavy to use in a kitchen.

I was frustrated and done with cookbooks then by luck i found this book on amazon and boooom!

Price

Ingredients are expensive especially if you don’t have a stocked pantry and all the spices to go with it.

Packaging/appearance

Ups treated the package horribly even bubble wrapped the books corners were bent.

I'd refer it if at least it came with spiral bound pages as then it would like flat - this one doesn't.

Competitiveness

It is also miles ahead of the dozens of other diabetes cookbooks i have tried.
