Pros

The original 3 book foundation, foundation and empire, centered on hari seldon. Asimov is the originator to the genre of empire building. In a way those stories are the inspiration for every galactic empire or federation story.

Cons

Absolutely hideous defacing of a wonderful series. Third book had its cover misprinted so badly that the tiltle did not run along the centre of the spine. Cheapness is not just a frank zappa song.

If you want a set of durable copies, then look elsewhere.

First of all the covers are glossy, which makes them quite fragile to scratches, so handle them with care.

Price

The entire foundation series of books at one affordable price.

Liked the complete foundation series, have been looking for an affordable set for quite some time.

I'm also especially excited because i tried buying them used at 1/2 price books and they sucked.

That being said, it is nice to have the complete set at such an affordable price.

However it took a very long time for me to receive them.

Update: new books arrived next day with complete set.

Packaging/appearance

I was impressed by the graphic signature of the covers and the packaging of this set - not just a pile of books in a box.

Shipped together for me all wrapped in plastic, nice tight bundle, same covers as the photo

It would be nice if they came in a decorative box like a true collection vs a cobbled together assembly of books, but not a big deal.

These books came in a protective cellophane wrapping not a box but arrived in mint condition.
