I have just received this book and havent made any of the recipes yet but i have perused the book carefully to select upcoming menus

However though i am enthusiastic about trying the many international offerings like nasi goreng homemade biang biang mian noodles in a spicy chili sauce and vindaloo sweet potatoes some of the necessary ingredients are not sitting on my pantry shelves

I think this is an unrealistic and slightly misleading stretching of the books mission to show 34ways to cook well with whats on hand

Just be aware that you may not find a recipe to use that can of cream of celery soup thats about to expire
