The first section the salad bar does not include this writeup on the recipes it contains being simple toppings and relatively straightforward dressings this omission is not important and isnt really missed

However some once popular salads and other common salads are not represented at all jello salad and watergate salad are two that come to mind though to be fair jello salad is not one i actually expected to find in this book
