I saw some reviews that it was building mold because it couldn’t be removed but you can remove it it takes some pushing and pulling

They can be a little hard to really clean i use a small bottle brush to get into the crevasses around the spout

The mouth piece valve is really hard to get out but i guess that’s a good thing as well cause it does not leak at all
