The girl in the green silk gown is the second book in seanan mcguire's ghost roads series. Unlike sparrow hill road this story follows a linear timeline with summoning circles, twists and more. This is one of my favorite sparrow hill road books.

There are all kinds of beings in the twilight. Classic greek mythology is neatly woven into the story. It is an american based ghost story, but the greek artifacts added blend so well into the plot.

The characters hold up, and are believeable. It is interesting to see these character dynamics flourish because of this. It's cathartic, in a way.

Cons

There was tons of padding, including very distracting segues in the middle of supposed dialog. The reader of the audiobook has an annoying habit of dragging out and down inflecting the last syllable of almost every sentence.

Overall i really enjoyed this book and love that it ties in a little bit with the incryptid series.

You can guess from the title that i love everything i’ve ever read by seanan mcguire.

I love how this series takes place in the same world as the price's.

I am a diehard seanan mcguire fan.

Rose also has a psychotic serial killer after her and he has a brand-new plan and a whole bunch of tricks up his sleeve.
