Pros & Cons
Pros
It's very social and even when the one team is guessing, the other teams are active listening for the use of forbidden words. There is a bell that the other team rings if the describer breaks any of the rules. The first team around the board wins.
The one person tries to explain various words without using charades, sound effects, any part of the word plus several spicy restrictions that vary. Need to sell an expansion pack of new words cards.
It is very entertaining and the pepper challenges that add rules to each round make it different every time you play! I personally love games that are fun but also make you think.
The spicy restrictions are what really make this game fun. There are different rules on what can and cannot be said based on which strength of jalapeno card you pick. The difference between a mild pepper (easy restriction) and a medium is a single poi... Read More

For the first round thats often not too bad but by the time you get to the 4th round even very simple words can be very difficult to describe depending on the restrictions youve accumulated

These restrictions based on word classes is the main reason why this is much harder than taboo in general

That also makes it much harder for the people on the other teams who are trying to catch you making a mistake

While that can make it more fun it also becomes more frustrating if you have a wide ageability gap between players like in a family with a spread of kids ages

First of all in scoring the difference between a mild pepper easy restriction and a medium is a single point and only one more for spicy hard
