Like great scifi, it stimulates the imagination and brings an * of possibilities. I hope too that there is still an audience for this sort of science fiction.
The gods themselves tells the story of a not-to-distant future. A bumbling scientist stumbles upon a cross-universe transfer of energy.
Cons
Terribly boring with stereotypical charcters. Science in this story is dubious bordering on ridiculous.
