The good news is it works perfectly. This does that and does it well. Highly recommend. This tape works magic!
The good stuff rug gripper tape is an excellent product for anyone looking to keep their rugs securely in place on any type of flooring. It is incredibly durable and can hold even the heaviest rugs firmly in place.
The tape is sticky but also very easy to remove and does not leave a residue. That is removable with some goo-gone. It has even helped flatten out the ends of the rug.

I bought this not thinking that i made a good purchase but oh my did i when it says its sticky it sticks and your rug wont move sticky in a good way not in a bad way just make sure that when you put it down thats where you want it i highly recommend this

It is horrible to cut the tape as it sticks to the scissors razor blades and the blade holders

Vacuumed with no curling corners no peekyboo no vacuum grabs where i swear it wanted to inhale a foot of the rug and suffocate itself

The rug i applied the tape too is in the hallway on a hardwood floor and used to end up in a puddle against the wall
