Pros

America's test kitchen is the ultimate on everything in the cooking and baking world. It doesn't just give you recipes, it teaches you how ingredients work and why. And, the baguette recipe is equally good.

This is by far the best gluten free cookbook i have tried thus far. My son was recently diagnosed with celiac disease. It goes into the science involved in gluten free baking and discusses the different kinds of gluten free flours.

Atk all purpose and atk whole grain flour blends work wonderfully. Ingredients for the basic flour blends that won't be in your local safeway, and i ordered all of these at amazon or picked them up at whole foods.



Cons

Many of the baked goods rely on ingredients that are not low-fodmap such as yogurt. I have another gluten-free donut hole recipe that is so much better and very simple!

    I’ve made whole grain hamburger and hotdog buns i used the burger bun recipe for hotdog buns and just placed them in a mold

    What impressed me the most is that after placing the hotdog in the bun i expected it to crack across the bottom and leave me with a hotdog sandwich
