Pros

This book is huge, it's like the grand lexicon of kanji. With all this information, the book is a hefty travel companion. This won't be your one-and-only kanji dictionary.

Cons

Competitiveness

This is my only kamji dictionary, so i don't really have a comparison for it, but i find it extremely useful.

I find this book excellent, especially when compared to the others of its type, especially when it comes to numbering the kanji.

It is similar to using the oxford english dictionary as it provides many layers of information.

In this topic, i think kodansha is a better one.
