Even though you can temporarily get around this mechanic by hiding inside a shrine from 1155 pm to 1220 am the time when the moon is in the sky the game will still continue to force the blood moon to appear every subsequent night until you finally relent and let it happen

But the fact that the game is forcing the mechanic onto the player combined with the revival of bosses is the frustrating aspect

Obviously a patch could easily resolve both of these issues and perhaps nintendo is working on one but until that happens these small annoyances will continue to aggravate players to no end
