It was a cruel way to deal with the pleasant town of madison at the end (or was it a stepford? It looks like i may have to reread the whole series. Phenomenal book by 2 phenomenal authors.
Cons
The long earth is boring. Not by anything remotely resembling hard science. More like the long yawn. At least it's recyclable.
