You get a very nice box that is oversized to accommodate card sleeves and additional expansions.

That being said this confused her quite a bit and even with the quick start guide and decks im not sure if her love of lotr would have gotten her through learning the game or if this would have just become a fan piece on the shelf

There are a lot of different things you need to keep track of so if youre easily distracted by your attention being pulled in multiple directions this might be a little frustrating
