Pros & Cons
Pros
The series is a sequel to the first series percy jackson and the olympians. The new demigod heroes interact and mesh with the old camp half blood crew. Along the way, they encounter mythological creatures, gods, and incredible - sometimes ludicrous - ... Read More
Rick riordan is a genius when it comes to dialog. His stories are light-hearted and easy to follow. She is strong, intelligent, and beautiful.
Leo valdez is an engineer, and he’s the clown of the group. I'm such a * for the ones who are forgotten or overlooked. The way leo learns to trust not only his friends but in himself is such a great message.
Jason, piper, and leo are the main characters. The books are solid with wordplay that switches from magically descriptive to straight up silly.
Cons
The villains are all one-dimensional. The three demigod are latecomers. I hope that they opt for a new narrator, because this guy is not going to help them to sell audiobooks. Also the characters are very two dimensional.
The writing just seemed unexciting. Spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors run rampant. The editor should be fired and sent back to 3rd grade.
His thought and reactions to anything are very bland and emotionless. No development whatsoever. This book is tense at times but in the end its just boring.
Piper is the stereotypical daughter of an actor who has no maternal figure. She spends half her time musing about how hot jason is and how much she wishes him to kiss her. I fail to see why piper holding a dagger to an (unarmed!
Highlights
Quality
Needless to say, they were very happy with the results.
I’m looking forward to continuing the story with the next book in the series.

Price
No matter the cost, leo made me cry.
Competitiveness
An interesting take on greek\roman mythology in the modern world.
