Pros

I. Oliver blue is endearingly cute. Oliver is the outsider without friends until he finds a famous but eccentric inventor to help tutor him.

This story has a heartwarming end with a small cliffhanger. I think what brought me out of my willing suspension of disbelief could have been remedied with closer editing.

Loved this great adventure. Certainly this deserves a 5-star review. Kudos to ms rice on an excellent book.

This series so far is amazing. Love the modern day twist in this series. Looking forward to toto seemore.

This book is so engaging. It keeps you wanting to read more with all the eventful adventure. The writing is extremely creative. It feels as if one is experiencing all the emotions that he is feeling.

Cons

The seer's inability to see the bad guys makes no sense, according to the internal logic of the world being created. The relationships between the characters is not realistic.

While his life is hard and seems similar to another young wizard, this is more quantum physics and parallel universes.

Though their are similarities to harry potter, the premis is very fresh and different.
