Pros & Cons
Pros
My 11 year old avid reader loves this book. She loves it, so do i. We use this book during family reading time before bed and it keeps the adults entertained.
Book is a history of mathematics and an introduction to the different concepts and the people who developed them. Sidebars include biographical information on important mathematicians involved with each topic.
The math book and the psychology book are both 3/4 thick. The thickness of the math book is more important than the cover thickness because pages need to last a long time.

Ive updated the review score and taken away 1 star due to the obviously poor construction

I feel like 3 stars is too low because people that like math would enjoy this book even in tatters on the other hand 4 stars feels too high to support such an unexpected quality dip in construction not contents

The rest of this review is not about the contents but instead it is about the quality of construction
