Pros & Cons
Pros
The olmecs are one of the most baffling enigmas of the ancient world. Many anthropologists and archaeologists use the culture of the later mayans and aztecs to infer what the culture might have been.
I enjoy reading about the ancient mesoamerican cultures. But what an amazing culture. We are just now piecing their history together.
This brief history is detailed enough to satisy the main questions. The author avoids overly technical and obtuse detail yet delivers a highly readable enlightening and engaging lesson.
Cons
This is a scam and a glaring issue for amazon. I’m sorry, anonymous publications are unexceptionable. Deleted from library.

The olmecs are the oldest culture to have been discovered in mesoamerica and as they are so old very little of their ways of life are fully understood though this obviously isnt the fault of the book therefore researching these people is a challenge as we simply cant confirm a lot of existing theories about them
