Pros

The mat keeps your rug from migrating out of position on top of your carpet. It is great for a rug over carpet.

Works like a charm. Boss is pleased! This item actually works.

No more bunching up. I just take my foot and scuff the rug a time or two & it’s right back in place. No slipping, no buckling.

Great product. A little pricey but worth it. I am pretty frugal and the reason i spend so much time researching every purchase is to be sure i get the best bang for my buck.

Cons

The pad is extremely thin - definitely not the advertised 1/4” thick. The runner is to protect the new carpet underneath, but it kept bunching up. Theres barely any adhesive on it. Basically just made the curling of the rug a tad less then without.
